This year’s Greenville High School Homecoming will take place the week of October 7 to 11, and there are some changes from past parades.

This year’s Grand Marshal is the very deserving 1974 GHS graduate, Ty House.

The Pep Rally will start about 6:30 PM in the newly remodeled Marling Band Shell. The crowning of the Chief Green Wave will take place near the end of the Pep Rally. Visitors for this event can park at the High School or the parking lot to the east of the Band Shell.

The Powder Puff football games will begin about 7:00 PM, at Harmon Field.

Friday, Oct. 11, the introduction of the Homecoming Queen candidates and crowning of the Queen ceremony will begin at 6:15 PM, before the football game at Harmon Field.

The Football game will be Friday night, Oct. 11, beginning at 7:00 PM against M.V.L. league opponent, the West Carrollton Pirates.

Thursday, Oct. 10, the Parade will start at the Library yard and fronting Sycamore Street at 6:00 PM, and then will proceed east on Fifth Street to Broadway, instead of gathering at Marsh’s/ LoBill’s/ Subway’s lot on Martin Street. New starting time, too.

Then left from Fifth Street and north onto Broadway, up to Harmon Drive at the traffic light.

Then, turn east on Harmon Drive to the High School for disembarkation.
